Loop It

Project Overview
LoopIt is a mobile application designed to simplify and modernize the cycle of reusing and rehoming everyday belongings. The goal is to transform how we buy, sell,
and give away goods by creating a seamless, intuitive marketplace that is as simple as a tap. LoopIt aims to reduce waste and promote a more circular economy
by making it easy and appealing for users to find new homes for their items and discover unique finds in their local community.
My Contributions
As the lead designer, I managed this project from initial research to the final prototype. I began by conducting market analysis and defining the core strategy, then crafted a cohesive visual identity and a design system.
I designed and prototyped key user flows, progressing from low-fidelity wireframes to a high-fidelity, interactive prototype that was tested on a mobile device. I concluded by documenting all design decisions and research.
LoopIt's target audience includes eco-conscious consumers, declutterers, and bargain hunters—all united by a desire for a simple, efficient secondhand marketplace.

The app's core features are designed for a streamlined user experience: a simplified listing process, map-based discovery for local transactions, an integrated messaging system for secure communication, and user profiles with ratings to build trust.

The app's visual identity is clean, modern, and trustworthy, using a calming color palette of earthy greens and grays with a warm yellow accent. The typography is a clean sans-serif font, reinforcing the app's focus on simplicity.
